Renderings of his new project that will be transformed from Classical Revival Library into a Residential development.

The first glimpse of the project demonstrates an on-going residential redevelopment. This development has begun with the purpose of transforming The New York Public Library located at 61 Rivington Street into a residential-mission building. This contemporary mix of the traditional building will have 11 units covering a total area of 13,825 square feet. Each unit is allocated an area of 1,250 square feet, quite spacious for living.

Captivating details of its exteriors:

Located in Chinatown, Manhattan, the three-story building will be maintained at the lower levels of their exteriors. The bottom of the building includes horizontally scored masonry. The other two next floors have a red brick-like facade pattern.

However, the interior of the building will be redeveloped and redesigned for residential reasons.

Beyond its third floor, there is a contemporary design that has stepped setbacks, glass barriers surrounding outdoor terrace spaces and white masonry facade with tall windowpanes.

The design of the building is in the hands of renowned Issac & Stern Architects firm and Picksell Studio. Horizon Group is responsible for the redevelopment and transformation of a three-story Classical Revival style building into a residential building.

The construction is still on-going and the date of its launch will soon be revealed.
